Location: Angeles Crest Hwy, CA.
Recently collaborated with a really fun gang of creatives for a MILK Made introduction to the intensely beautiful and kind, Leila Spilman. Creative director Kalvin Lazarte and photographer Chris Swainston lead the crew 40-something miles inland to a location called Angeles Crest Hwy for a fashion story inspired by Leila’s “Love ‘em and Leave ‘em” femme fatale persona.
We used a mix of antiqued jewelry from VidaKush, a beautiful mauve silk dress from Ron Herman, Frye boots, Brain Atwood stiletto sandals, classic Levis denim shorts, and vintage t-shirts to curate 3 solid looks that took us from the early morning hours after a Hollywood party into her escape of serene open roads with a magical backdrop of colossal mountains; she blew off some steam by shooting big guns, smoking cigarettes, and throwing back cans of brew..
We had so much fun adventuring out and discovering new locations with majestic landscapes, freezing our asses off together, and creating something unforgettable. Stay tuned for the finished editorial via MILK Made / MILK Studios coming soon..

Any opportunity to collaborate with LA-based photographer Irvin Rivera is a no-brainer for me, especially when the day consists of creating incredible looks for a familiar face from ANTM’s cycle 19, the super chill and fun to work with Leila Goldkuhl!
We played on the juxtaposition of beautiful, intricately detailed and surreal couture pieces with urban alleyways and street corners. Each look was curated specifically to it’s environment for slight contrasts in color, texture, and movement vs. still life and structure.
I can’t wait to share the full finished story from this shoot with you soon! Stay tuned..

Spent some time in my favorite little neighborhood recently, it’s a gem hidden in Hollywood and is locally known as Larchmont Village. Spanning just a short few blocks, the tiny town is filled with coffee shops, independently owned boutiques, tons of vintage, yoga studios, and spas! I ran over for a much needed manicure and a coffee between meetings.
I wore a simple t-shirt with signed artwork from Jean-Michel Basquiat on the front. Basquiat’s work is especially important to me because he injected something ravishingly new, unmistakably true, and with a touch of melancholy to the art of his time and ours.
I paired the bright casual colors with “Gianna” from the MIA Shoes summer collection last year, vintage Chanel sunglasses I picked up down south over 10 years ago, a skinny vintage belt, bright yellow mid-length slacks and leather book bag I picked up at Top Shop in New York.

Location: Williamsburg, NY.
While in New York, I took a short ride East to collaborate on a fun photo shoot with my favorite city kitty, Marley-Kate. I was able to pull some really cool pieces from my favorite Downtown LA boutique Haus of Love just before my trip and we created a playful story about two babes wandering around Brooklyn.
Here is a behind-the-scenes peek at my day in Williamsburg:

I spent the past week in New York for a last-minute Fashion Week collaboration with Shateria Morange-El, creative force behind contemporary ready-to-wear women’s line Front Row.
I managed to pack model castings, fittings, venue visits, and final alterations to the collection into four tightly scheduled days.
The final look was a laid back, sophisticated yet sporty girl-on-the-go, which I loved! The shoes I chose to compliment the looks were “The Rocco“ provided by MIA Shoes because I felt the Grey-Python, Black, and White color ways, sporty feel, and stiletto would work perfectly with the collection. Each model also wore handmade sterling silver jewelry by Stockholm-based artisan/ designer Kristan Borgstrom.
Video recap coming soon!
